@johncarbery The thing about Yars is that we really don’t know what the other guys did to provoke his need for revenge.
”As with several other video games for the 2600 system, a miniature comic book was included in the game package, illustrating the story behind Yars’ Revenge. The comic book explained the ”revenge” of the game’s title: that the Yars were avenging the destruction of one of their worlds, Razak IV. I know that might be the official story but I still think its open to interpretation. I wonder if Ray Kassar’s house had a weird belt of colour running throug it that separated his weapons from his enemies?
Those comics were pure propaganda from the Razakian III War Machine!
