Nice to see Air Zonk as the mascot for this group. Although I’d personally like to see the flying bag of rubbish featured at some point. One of my all time favourite video game thingys.

I remember calling the TurboGrafx hotline and asking about games that were scheduled to come out and checking up on release dates. Asking about Dungeon Explorer is very clear in my mind and the rep mentioning Gauntlet.

I busted out the giant, block, TurboGrafx-CD unit today. I usually play the majority of my Turbo games on the Virtual Console or on the Duo but, I wanted the full authenticity of the only gaming CD-ROM that came with its own typewriter case.
After exposing Chiz to the four CD Video CDs that I own (Men Without Hats ”Pop Goes the World,” Rainmakers ”Downstream,” Angela Winbush ”Angel,” and David Bowie ”Ashes to Ashes” which are played on a Laser Disc Player or just the audio on a standard CD Player, I wanted to show her the magic of CD+G. I hooked up the TG-16 CD and showed her a little bit of Jimi Handrix Smash Hits, Chris Isaak Silvertone, Bonnie Raitt Nine Lives and Beethoven Symphony No 9. (I also own Bonnie Raitt Green Light and Fleetwood Mac Behind the Mask and I’m working on getting the correct version of Donna Summer Another Place, Another Time). It is amazing how the majority of the releases have absolutely zero mention of containing +Graphic content.
After that I had to pop in Y’s Book 1 and start bumping my way through that.
